What is Refractive Lens Exchange

As we get older our lens becomes less flexible, making our vision blurry typically making it difficult reading (presbyopia) but can also effect our far-sight (hyperopia)

Sometimes called lens replacement surgery or clear lens exchange. This a procedure, usually carried out on people who are over the age of 45 years old designed to eliminate or reduce your need for glasses or contact lenses.

Similar to cataract surgery, however people undergoing this lens replacement surgery will not be suffering from cataracts, indeed it will also eliminate any future requirement for cataract surgery

This clear lens replacement surgery is when the eyes natural lens is replaced by an artificial intraocular lens , know as IOL, that improves the focus of light on your retina eliminating the requirement for glasses or contact lenses.
